to celebrate New Years!

New Years celebrations here in Slovenia are pretty fun.
People here start shooting off fireworks weeks in advance and for about a week after.
And I'm not talking little sparklers.
Not even close!
I'm talking people shoot off things that only Disneyland is able to procure in California right in their very own front yards!
It is so much fun!!

My bro was here last week and we took him to Ljubljana on New Year's eve to see the lights and go to a party with our friends.
Ljubljana all dressed up.

Like any good father, Hondo is letting his son play with fire at the ripe age of 2 1/2!
We of course got to experience all of this last New Years, but it was my bro's first time.
He described it best when he said, "It's like every family has their own Homecoming half time show TIMES 50 at their own house!"
If you're in the area next year, Hondo just might share his fireworks with you!
