One of the main reasons we moved here to SG is this couple right here.
Ben & Janis are what we call a "Slo-merican" couple. Ben is a Slovene, but met and married Janis when he moved to the states to go to college and seminary.
Now they live here in SG with their 6 kiddos and are serving as church planters and pastoring a small church that meets in their home.
They have been a HUGE help in getting us settled. Everything from translating documents, talking to the landlord, sharing meals, watching our little man, connecting us with a language tutor, and giving us shopping tips.
Their kids range from 12 years old to 18 months, which works out great for us.
We get a very responsible babysitter and lots of other playmates for the Dude.
We are super thankful for this great family!

Just got caught up on the blog- yay for moving, team partners, and a girl! So fun! The birthday video for your mom was awesome, too. =) Happy Thanksgiving!
