So Hondo and I spent last week in the beautiful but freezing cold city of Krakow, Poland.
Why would we spend 4 days in -22C weather and leave our kid in another country you ask?
To go the Josiah Venture marriage conference of course!
We left Caleb in the very capable hands of our friend Tanja and I don't think he even missed us.
The whole week was just great. A foundation from the states gave the conference to us as a generous gift and we stayed in a fancy hotel and had all sorts of yummy food- including some authentic Polish pirogies! Outstanding teaching, insightful discussions, wise counselors, deep thoughts, and lots of laughs.
I'm really having a hard time trying to summarize the week...
Really, it was just fantastic.

We felt so loved by Josiah Venture knowing that they care deeply about the health of our marriage and took such good care of us all week long.
Both of us agreed that we would loved to visit Krakow again....
in July!

Brings back memories of when we went to our first marriage conference with you guys... years ago... what a good memory... so glad you guys were able to get away!
