...to have special visitors

So I am way behind on my blogging, but here are a few pics of our special visitors that were here in early Oct. It was almost 10 days straight of getting to be some of our most favorite people! What a treat. They all were here to see Estes at it's BEST! The colors and weather were amazing.

So my mom, Grammy, stayed with us for about a week and we had such a great time together. She cooked and we shopped and we walked a lot. We even picked out Caleb's Oct. 31st costume (more on that later). It was great to have you here mom!

Our dear friends from Portland (really they live in WA now, but I still say Portland) Jim & Charissa came to spend a long weekend with us. They didn't bring the kiddos this time, but we had such a special time. This is Charissa and I at the Celestial Seasonings tea factory (which is one of my most favorite places in CO). The guys went rock climbing and mountain biking and us girls walked and shopped and had good talks we all shared some great meals together around town. So much fun.

Then we were able to spend a quick day with our great friend Laura! She planned her Colorado trip especially with us in mind. She zipped up to EP before a family wedding and we were so jazzed to get some time with her here! We also walked (I do like to walk) and shopped a bit and enjoyed some sweet potatoes on the grill.
