to play in Austria with the Shoes

Right after Kids Camp we did 3 loads of laundry and jumped back in the car to drive to Austria.
My brave sister and her family did the "Great European Road Trip" from Lisbon to Austria and we decided to rendezvous in a beautiful mountain village for a few days.
We never want to pass up a chance to see these guys- so off we went!
She is so awesome!
The view from the castle.
It actually rained most of the time we were together which is a major bummer when you have 2 two-year olds in a small apartment.
But on the one sunny day we decided to storm the local castle!

A picture with Aunt Trisha was not happening with this girl!

Much better success from uncle/nephew team.

Enjoying some special treats sent by Tonya, JUST in time for this road trip!
Another big highlight was driving up to Garmish, Germany and having Pizza Hut Pizza for dinner. Oh, you laugh. But besides seeing my sis (and her fam of course) it was probably the highlight of the whole trip! Made me think of all those Flex Points I used on bread sticks and pizza in the Eagle's Nest during the 'ol BIOLA days.
Ahhhhh
Double trouble for sure!

So we asked this nice German group to take our pic and they said, "What do you say right before you take the picture?"
And we said, "You mean, Cheese?!?!"
and they said, "Yeah, but do you know what we say right now? Economic Crisis!"
I feel like your smile is a little more fake when you say that...but maybe it's just me.
