to visit with Teri & Jacob!

My sister and her husband were with us last week!

Oh, it was so much fun to spend time with them!

We laughed a ton, had great talks, celebrated Caleb's birthday, and we took them to see some popular sites around SLO.

Teri & Jacob would make a great team on "The Amazing Race." We spent quite a bit of time thinking about what the show would make them do here in Slovenia. Obviously, one of them would have to storm this castle that was built into a cave.

Reading books with Caleb would be part of the rest day for The Amazing Race, but still challenging because he is a little particular about how and where his books are read.

This train takes you into one of the largest caves in the world! It was a VERY cool experience and clearly on The Amazing Race, you would have to find your way out WITHOUT the train and in the dark. And eat one of the salamanders that live in there too.

At lake Bled, you would either have to swim out to the island, storm yet another castle or eat an excess amount of the famous pastries.

Or just try to keep a 2 year old who really likes to throw rocks in the water, OUT of the water.

I'm telling you, this place is perfect for the Amazing Race and if Teri & Jacob ever get chosen to compete, they would win the WHOLE caboodle!

Unless.....Teri's luggage get's lost...or Jacob has to eat another horse burger!
