What is going on in this picture?
Trisha is teaching and Hondo already has his name on the board!
We joined some of our JV teammates in a mini marathon of teaching English at one of the high schools here in Ljubljana last week. 10 classes in 2 days.
Although we could think of about 100 other exciting topics to teach about, the staff of the school asked us to talk about the American School system.
Kind of hard to do when there are so many differences between districts and states and all sorts of stereotypes presented in the movies, but we did our best (no, not every school in America has metal detectors and no, we do not have fast food restaurants in high schools).
We spent the majority of each lesson in small groups trying to let each student practice their English and it was a lot of fun.
P.S. Don't worry, Hondo didn't get in trouble. David was just trying to explain that Hondo is NOT a common American name. =)

Does anyone there know his REAL name? I don't want to spoil it for them, but that one is common enough. Hondo is MUCH better, but they might be very curious now. :)
can you explain to me why hondA is written on the board? Weird.
