to go to KRIZ

So for the last two weeks, my man and some of our teammates and 15 Slovene college students have been up on a mountain studying the Bible and the mini Bible school we call KRIZ.

The kids and I stayed in Ljubljana with some of our teammates (because there really isn't room for us up there) and drove up to the mountain just about every day to be a part of things here and there. I got to meet with two great girls for our "Gospel Buddy" time. They are really sharp cookies!

To pass the time in the mornings, we took the kids to the ball pit at a local store.
Brilliant this. Seriously keeps the kids and the mamas happy.

Sharon and I were quite a sight hauling 4 car seats with her two little girls and my two kiddos around town and up and down the mountain. You can't even see Eliana in this picture because we made her sit in the very very back of the car. Poor thing.

Some more creative ways to pass the time with Eliana and Calebino. It was not easy having the daddies be away for so long!

KRIZ is an acronym for the Slovene words that mean
Christ, Truth, Integrity and Life.
It is the only "Bible School" in the entire country so this is a REALLY big deal for these hardworking students and for the country of SLO.

Here are the studious students soaking in scripture.

It really was an amazing two weeks. The Lord taught all of us more than we thought we could handle and really brought a new depth to this community of believers.

This is the 2011 crew!
