Last week (or so) we got our Christmas tree from one of Hondo's students.
Her family owns a "Tourist Farm" (think Bed and Breakfast on a working farm) near by and said we could retrieve a tree from their property!
Personally, I am totally fine with a fake tree, but my hub REALLY likes the real thing.
So while I was resting my two guys went off to the family's farm and were welcomed with coffee and cookies and all sorts of homemade sausages and cheese.
Very cool.
Technically, I think the farmer did the chopping, but both guys were prepared with sharp (or plastic) objects to get the job done.
Caleb even got his very own tree!
