A couple of weeks ago, we invited our language class over for dinner.
Almost everyone was able to come including both of our teachers!
We are quite an international group all studying Slovene for various reasons.
Almost everyone was able to come including both of our teachers!
We are quite an international group all studying Slovene for various reasons.
We had 2 Hungarians, 1 gal from Sweden, a guy from Argentina, a girl from France who brought her Croatian boyfriend, an Australian man who brought his Slovene wife and our teacher's husband who is from the Ukraine.
The Cuban, Italian, and Spaniard were not able to come.
Between our Slovene teachers and the three of us representing the USA, we had 9 nationalities all together!
We played a few fun games and had a great conversation while we ate dessert.
The picture is lousy, but the evening was a real treat.
The class went in together and bought Caleb two really great Slovene books too.
How thoughtful!
