Another major highlight of our trip to Cali was a party that the church in Diamond Bar gave for my mom and dad to celebrate their 20 years of ministry there! They had many surprise visitors there to honor my folks including my Grandpa Hopper! Grandma Ballenberger, Uncle Pat, Aunt Joanne, cousin Mindy, Uncle Steve and Aunt Sharron all came too. Us kids did a "dramatic reading", they had movies, some sweet gifts, and plenty of old pictures of our family when we moved to Diamond Bar...very embarrassing Jr. High hair that is better not remembered...Maybe the best part was the In-N-Out truck that came to give cheese burgers to EVERYONE! Caleb fell asleep towards the end of the festivities, but we took his picture next to the truck anyway.
Way to go mom and dad! 30+ years of faithful ministry and 20 of them all in one place! Wow!
